Joining the California Bujinkan Dojo
To join the dojo, simply visit the dojo during any class time and a member will be happy to sign you up! If you want to begin the same day, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before class begins giving you adequate time to fill out our membership forms and pay for your class schedule.
You can join anytime; all classes are open to all members, including those who are just beginning. New members are paired with experienced practitioners for individualized instruction in every class.
Little Ninjas – Ages 3 – 5 yrs.
Ninja Kids – Ages 6 – 9 yrs.
Junior Shinobi – Ages 10 – 15 yrs.
Practical Defense – Ages 13 yrs. and up.
Kunoichi Training – All ages; Female Only
Budotaijutsu / Traditional Ninjutsu – All ages
The California Bujinkan Dojo is open to the public.
Visitors are welcomed and encouraged to observe class at any time, although an appointment is recommended as special events may alter our training location and times.

What is the Bujinkan?
The Bujinkan is an international martial arts organization with a focus on ethical protection and preserving life. It is headed by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and is made up of nine separate martial schools.
What are the benefits of practicing Bujinkan Ninjutsu?
Aside from self-defense skills, practicing Bujinkan Ninjutsu also emphasizes movement, balance, and perseverance, providing benefits beyond physical training. Students are evaluated not only on their physical ability, but their intellectual development and personal character.
Who can join the California Bujinkan Dojo?
Our active membership includes men and women of all ages and backgrounds, from 3-year-old beginners to experienced martial artists who are 80 years old and above.
